Commento: Finalmente possiamo coronare la frenetica corsa al vertice (basso) della classifica. Non è stato facile, ma l’invidiabile score di un punto nelle ultime quattro partite ci regala questo primo ambizioso traguardo. E non è che l’inizio. Dopotutto Briatore ha detto: "In Premier in tre anni" e come potevamo rendere epico questo proposito? Ma naturalmente partendo dall’ultimo posto in Championship! Quando fra qualche anno alzeremo la coppa di Campioni del Mondo la vergogna si impadronirà di noi ripensando a questi momenti apparentemente infausti ed ai relativi pensieri cupi di questi giorni.
La partita ha visto le squadre in campo per 45 minuti ciascuna. Il primo tempo lo abbiamo giocato noi. Il secondo l’han giocato le ‘aquile’ del Crystal Palace. Con la non trascurabile differenza che nella prima frazione noi abbiamo fatto un gol, nella seconda frazione loro ne hanno fatti due. Vabbeh… Stai a vedè er capello…
La rabbia ed il desiderio di dare una raddrizzata alla stagione ci hanno portato a chiudere il primo tempo in vantaggio (solo) 1-0, grazie sopratutto alle parate di quell’indemoniato di Speroni che, tanto per cambiare, quando incontra i QPR si trasforma in un incrocio tra Buffon e Yascin.
Nel secondo tempo la fatica di quattro gare in pochi giorni, sommate alle assenze per infortuni e squalifiche, ci ha segato le gambe. E così, al 60′, mentre De Canio dettava gli schemi, Nygaard li traduceva in inglese e gli altri giocatori cercavano di trattenere le risate (ed i crampi), il Palace ci ha infilato un uno-due da far invidia a Tyson.
Si spera nella pausa natalizia, con la conseguente ‘finestra’ di mercato, per rimpinguare la rosa con qualche elemento che ci risollevi dai bassifondi di classifica. Dopotutto non è che ci serva un gran chè: un portiere, tre o quattro difensori, altrettanti centrocampisti ed una manciata di attaccanti. Briatore: basta poco, checcevò?
