Estratto ieri il calendario per il secondo turno di Carling Cup.
I QPR lo giocheranno a Londra a Loftus Road contro il Carlisle United, squadra di League 1, che nel primo turno ha avuto la meglio per 0-1 in trasferta sullo Shrewsbury Town, squadra di League 2.
i "Cumbrians" lo scorso anno hanno terminato la League One al quarto posto, accedendo ai Play-Off dove però sono stati sconfitti.
Sono originari di Carlisle (Cumbria) e sono nati nel 1904. Il loro perido migliore è stato all’inizio degli anni settanta, quando hanno ottenuto una semifinale in League Cup, la promozione in Premier e un quarto di finale in FA Cup. Nel 1975 la retrocessione a cui sono seguiti trent’anni di altalena tra la Championship e la League One.
