Oggi Queens Park Rangers….Domani… LONDON RANGERS?
Sia chiaro: è solo un ‘rumor’ che circola su alcuni tabloid inglesi e su alcuni siti web e forum inglesi dedicati agli R’s.
La ‘notizia’ pare di una insensatezza epocale, ma dopo cha abbiamo cambiato simbolo e mascotte… siamo certi che non si possa arrivare anche ad un ipotetico abominio del genere?
Francamente io lo escluderei. Per quanto siano ‘rivoluzionari’, Briatore & C. non credo abbiano mai pensato ad una ipotesi del genere e, se ci hanno pensato, era solo per farci due risate sopra.
Ora e sempre solo Queens Park Rangers!!

I super ricchi proprietari dei Queens park Rangers stanno discutendo di cambiare il nome del club per sceglierne uno che enfatizzi meglio la posizione geografica della società nella capitale.
Flavio Briatore, in questi giorni a Singapore per preparare il primo grand prix in notturna, ha aperto il dibattito con i suoi amici nel mondo del calcio e dei motori.
Ma i tifosi dei Rangers, già scontenti per il recente aumento dei prezzi per le partite, portati fino a 50 sterline, non sarebbero assolutamente d’accordo sul cambiamento dello storico nome che contraddistingue la squadra fin dal 1887 (la squadra si chiamava St. Jude nei primi due anni di vita, dal 1885 al 1887).
Non è d’accordo nemmeno la Football League che non accetta motivazioni commerciali in merito al cambiamento dei nomi delle squadre iscritte ai suoi campionati.
