Per il 31enne Hill, secondo quanto riporta il Kilburn Times, sarebbe già pronto un contratto per potergli permettere di riabbracciare Neil Warnock, che lo portò al Palace dallo Stoke City appena si insediò sulla panchina londinese.
Hill a fine stagione sarà libero grazie alla legge Bosman ed il suo ingaggio dovrebbe essere il primo tra i giocatori delle Eagles in teoria destinati agli Hoops. A lui dovrebbero seguire Neil Danns (centrocampista), Julian Speroni (portiere) e Nathaniel Clyne (difensore).
In attacco, invece, secondo il People gli Hoops si sono mossi in direzione Sheffield per strappare alle Blades Darius Henderson (29 anni, 12 gol quest'anno).
Il costo dell'operazione si aggirerebbe attorno al milione e 200 mila sterline.
