Ovviamente, non dovendo pagare niente al Leyton tutto si giocherà sull'importo dell'ingaggio e sulla durata del contratto da offrire a Tamika, arrivato a tre anni in UK per seguire il padre, giocatore di Rugby ingaggiato dal Warwickshire, e gli Hoops sembrano quindi i favoriti per il suo ingaggio.
Secondo i piani di Warnock, Mkandawire dovrebbe diventare l'ater ego di Damion Stewart, di tre anni più vecchio, per assicurare un'adeguata copertura al cuore della difesa dei Rangers.

Un giocatore molto forte fisicamente, e che in "aria" si fa rispettare. Ha anche il vizio del goal. In League One è un fattore, in Championship non so, di certo non lo rischierei subito come titolare.
