QPR boss Neil Warnock has strengthened his defensive options with the addition of Arsenal left-back Armand Traore.

Armand, che ha firmato un contratto triennale, ha così detto in sede di presentazione: "Quando ho parlato con Neil Warnock l'ho sentito molto appassionato nel descrivermi dove vorrebbe portare questo Club. E' molto determinato ad utilizzarmi con regolarità ed è questo che voglio a questo punto della mia carriera. Fino ad oggi non ho avuto molte possibilità di mettermi in mostra, poichè ho giocato in due top teams quali Arsenal e Juventus. Adesso guardo in avanti, a giocare con regolarità a calcio. Le ambizioni della nuova proprietà e la qualità dei miei nuovi compagni di squadra mi hanno convinto definitivamente a fare questo passo".
Molto soddisfatto anche Mister Warnock, che lavora alacremente per rinforzare la squadra in vista della fine del mercato, fissata per domani alle 23.00: "Armand è sempre stato il mio obiettivo numero uno per la difesa. Sono due settimane che ne parlo con Arsene (Wenger). E' un elemento giovane e bravissimo che ha bisogno di giocare con regolarità. In un Club come il nostro ne avrà la possibilità. Nessuno lo ha ancora visto giocare al suo massimo livello, ma sono certo che nei prossimi anni dimostrerà a tutti le grandi capacità che io ho visto in lui. Ha tutti i numeri per essere un top player e ci garantirà tutta la copertura di cui abbiamo bisogno sulla fascia sinistra".
Traorè indosserà la maglia n°13.
