Gennaio si avvicina, il calciomercato prende quota, i taccuini si riempiono di nomi e suggestioni. L'ultima arriva dall'Inghilterra, dalla nostra edizione britannica: secondo quanto appreso da Goal.com UK, Inter e Napoli starebbero seguendo con interesse le prestazioni di Alejandro Faurlin (foto), centrocampista argentino di proprietà del Queen's Park Rangers.
Centrocampista completo, dotato di buon fisico e discreta tecnica, Faulrin si è fin qui distinto come una delle sorprese della Premiership, dopo essere stato fondamentale ai fini della ritorno del QPR nella massima divisione inglese. Può ricoprire qualunque posizione in mediana, duttiilità che assieme al passaporto italiano lo rende particolarmente appetibile.
Tra le due italiane, è l'Inter quella più interessata al momento. Già qualche mese fa si registrò un interesse da parte dei nerazzurri, gentilmente declinato da parte del diretto interessato perchè convinto che gli avrebbe giovato un ruolo di spicco nel QPR piuttosto che un posto in panchina in nerazzurro. Scelta rivelatasi azzeccata.
Anche perchè, sulle sue tracce, non ci sono solo club nostrani. Faurlin ha impressionato anche gli scout dell'Arsenal, che in più occasioni l'hanno monitorato da vicino su suggerimento di Arsene Wenger. Di talenti, il manager dei Gunners, se ne intende. Anche il Tottenham ci sta facendo un pensierino, in vista della possibile partenza di Modric a fine anno.
Il QPR – come spesso accade in Inghilterra – è bottega cara, e chiede circa 10 milioni di sterline per il cartellino di Faurlin. Cifra importante, sacrificio di quelli che difficilmente si affrontano nel mercato invernale. Ma nè Inter, nè Napoli hanno fretta: l'argentino è sotto la lente d'ingrandimento, la prossima estate potrebbe tornare comodo…
