Da anni mancava un trofeo in bacheca ma da ieri, grazie ai prodi Danny Maddix, Steve Palmer, Micheal Meaker, Bradley Allen, Tony Thorpe, Tony Roberts (portiere), Andy Tillson, David Bardsley, Michael Meaker, Karl Connolly ed Andy Sinton ne abbiamo uno nuovo: la London Masters Cup 2009. 
Vabbeh, non è un gran che ma è comunque una bella soddisfazione quella che si sono tolta le ‘vecchie glorie’ degli Hoops.
La vittoria è arrivata ai rigori dopo che la partita di finale contro il West Ham era finita 1-1.
