Kaspars Gorkss lascia i QPR. Dopo 124 gare disputate con i colori dei Queens Park Rangers, il difensore nazionale Lettone passa al Reading, in Championship, con formula definitiva.
Kaspars è arrivato nel luglio del 2008 dal Blackpool, al termine di una saga che ha attraversato tutta l'estate di quell'anno, dovuta al fatto che i Seasiders non volevano assolutamente cedere il giocatore ed arrivarono a denunciare i Rangers per "iilegal approach".
Fin dal suo arrivo, Gorkss si è conquistato un posto da titolare inamovibile nel cuore della difesa ed è stato un punto fermo della promozione degli R's in Premier League lo scorso anno.
La sua avventura a Londra è però finita e da sabato Kaspars giocherà al Madejski Stadium, almeno per i prossimi tre anni.
"Kaspars è stato un servitore della causa dei QPR encomiabile" ha detto Coach Warnock, "ed è stato basilare nella nostra conquista della Premier League. Sono felice che vada in un ottimo club come il Reading".
